A commitment to serving the community
In 2009, at age 89, the father of Allen Sawchuk, President of Pro Energy, suffered a stroke. Thanks to the quick response time of the Stars Air Ambulance, Allen’s father was transported to the Grande Prairie Hospital where he was able to recover. Because of his encounter with Stars, Allen felt compelled to become a sponsor of the Air Ambulance. Allen and Pro Energy are still very proud supporters of Stars and continue to fund the future of Alberta’s Air Ambulance.
We believe that we have a social obligation to support our community, which is why we extend our support to other community organizations, including Girl Guides, the Red Cross, and the Canadian Cancer Society.
